Key responsibilities of the Department include:

• checking whether legacies, financial endowments and donations to the Aristotle University were made under the existing provisions of the legal framework,
• undertaking their management and fulfilling the will of testators and donors,
• providing managerial support to the Endowments Committee,
• keeping the minutes of the meetings, etc.
