The School of Mechanical Engineering of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki was founded in 1972.
About 1,000 students study at the School of Mechanical Engineering, whose staff consists of 30 faculty members, 19 assistants and 28 administrative employees.
The School of Mechanical Engineering is divided into three departments:
- Energy
- Design and Construction
- Industrial Management
The School of Mechanical Engineering offers:
- BA Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering
- MA degree and PhD degrees, as part of its graduate studies programme
Moreover, the School participates in three interdepartmental graduate programmes.
