The School of Early Childhood Education was founded 25 years ago.
The School aims to promote research in early childhood education, offer courses linked to labour market demand, provide students with training directly related to their main field of study, and cooperate with foreign institutions and agencies.
 
The School of Early Childhood Education offers a BA Honours degree after the completion of eight semesters of study. The School also offers graduate programmes in Special Education, Intercultural Education and Language Teaching, in collaboration with other universities in Greece (University of the Aegean) and abroad (University of Maine).

The young faculty members of the School and their innovative research methods contribute to the School’s reputation for excellence in research and teaching. The School of Early Childhood Education offers high-quality education and prepares students for a successful career in early education.
