The College of Arts and Sciences of the University of Alabama is presenting a public lecture by Dr. Richard Richards, from the Department of Philosophy, on ”Aristotle’s Evolutionary Spirit”.
Dr. Richards will discuss the extent to which Aristotle’s biology is compatible with the theory of evolution.
The event is part of “Aristotle Week” in celebrating 2400 years of the ancient philosopher’s impact on Western thought.
The event is free and open to the public.
