The National University of Theater and Film I.L.Caragiale arganizes Research Seminar “Aristotle in the Actor`s Art- interdiciplinary aproach“
As all the cultural institutions around the world, The Theater Faculty of UNATC “I.L.Caragiale“ pays tribute to one of the greatest figure the human history has had: Aristotle. In order to celebrate 2400 years from the birth of the philosopher, UNATC organizes, 12th-16th of December 2016, the research seminar “Aristotle in the Actor`s Art- interdisciplinary approach“.
The initiative belongs to the Master of Drama Pedagogy department in collaboration with the PhD Research Department. The event aims to enable a meeting of students and researchers specialized in Aristotle approach in drama and pedagogy from Romania and abroad.
In the seminar days there will take place various activities as: experimental workshops, open door classes, lectures on the related theme, held by specialized teachers from the Theater Faculty but also from the Philosophy Faculty. Our project intends to bring together several visions concerning drama as well as pedagogy and to align these approaches to the European artistic and research movement. We also intend to create communication channels between our students and teacher that can enable a further research and collaboration on an international level.
