In October 2021, the Freiburg Institute for Advanced Studies (FRIAS) launched the Young Academy for Sustainability Research (YAS), which is funded by the Eva Mayr-Stihl Foundation and aims to promote international and interdisciplinary postdoctoral researchers in the context of sustainability.
For its second round, the YAS is offering 15 memberships and one fellowship in residence at FRIAS within the thematic fields „transformative city-regions“ and „human-technology-environment relations“
